Sun-eater.

A great fog has indeed risen,
Blotting sight like a rocky satellite,

Yet, it will still come as it shall,
As it will, as it always has,

Devouring those precious lights
Reading those fabled dreams,

Supping upon all organic life
Crushing nebula after nebula,

Star after star, still unrelenting
Fiendishly annihilating at will,

Making the perpetual, temporary
Making the boundless, infinitesimal
Making the luminous, black once more.
