Summer.

To suckle on supple flesh
in the old days of summer,
like piglets close to mother,

And laugh, and wait, and lie,
in the company of flies, high
in the air with spent breath,

Was all we desired, amongst
one another, together tired,

‘Till asleep like mamallian mates.
