Sarah of the desert.

Desire comes to me within scattered dreams
As a double-headed serpent, both brazen and wry,
And then by the dawn I am dewed and I’m tainted,
By the slithering and foray into that which is sacred,

As I drift between sleeps, virginally ripe and delirious.
