Rats (2018) is a collection of science-fiction poems and prose, written over the course of two years.
The collection, drawing inspiration from a wide range of diverse contemporary sources as technical death metal bands, 90’s television programmes, films, nostalgic cartoons, as well as literature, misanthropy and dreams, serves as my first science-fiction collection to date and my first to explore the use of constructed language.
Eclectic and often experimental, Rats presents a panorama full of abstraction, occasional incoherence and transcendental narration, blurring the lines between the universe as we know it and the echoing chasm of the unknown.
