gnarled and heavy bulbs,
pompous, plump, bumped like
lumped thighs,
mottled, speckled, blemished;
green, golden, pale yellow
hefty handfuls, swollen as
overripe breasts,
with erupting ornate stalks,
stacked on stalls, endless hordes,
each big as lovely fists;
queer as chronicled creatures.
