Lamb.

Sickness plagues, prods and pokes
Tender flesh and rested bone alike;
I’m delicate like a lamb in a snare—
I sleep in lucid nonsensical dreams,
I drip and I drop and I queasily lay
Still as a beloved statue, serenaded;
I do not feel real in the autumn rain,
I do not feel great, so I use ketchup.
