I.
It actually made so much sense when I realised,
So much so that I was shocked at my lateness:
Insula — Insular
Insula = Island
Ergo:
Insular = Island.
I learned it from an old map, written in a Gothic;
A proud, British island; the name still escapes me.
II.
If only boring people get bored, leave me be,
Like a rocky peninsula, aware of its fate,
Doomed to be consumed relentlessly
By wild winds, writhing waves and
Slothing frothy surf.
