Dreaming in colour.
Composed in response to Fuck you know about me by Rome Streetz & DJ Muggs, from Death & the Magician (2021).

All painted with scattered strokes, 

warm streets with smudged smiles
purple hugs, loaded macs, stuffed bags
friends in cartoon dreams, looking lonely
from sidewalks filled with laughter,

red brick walls, hang tall, all fading,
pensive with a fuzzy fervence high above;
a hop, skip and a jump for luck,
clothes swaying from lines like ghosts,

and it all feels a long dream in vivid colour.
